Based on a compelling true story, four outsiders in the world of high finance who predicted the credit and housing bubble collapse of the mid-2000s decide to take on the big banks for their lack of foresight and greed.

From the book by the novelist who wrote Moneyball and The Blind Side, and directed by 3-time Emmy nominee Adam McKay (director of Anchorman and regular writer on Saturday Night Live), this particularly prodigiously pedigreed feature co-stars Steve Carell, Finn Wittrock (Unbroken, American Horror Story), Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy), Marisa Tomei and Selena Gomez.
