UnWined Subiaco is back for its ninth year at Market Square Park in Subiaco on 26 & 27 October.
UnWined Subiaco is back and is here for you to experience the best of WA’s wine, craft beer, cider and spirits.
This year will see 65+ companies from regions across our extraordinary state, visitors can enjoy beverages from companies that they may not normally have access to. And with over 40 wineries expected to participate, it is the largest showing of WA wines in a festival setting in the state.
Richard Campbell, Director of festival founders CMS Events says that the event is a great place for people to explore WA wines in one place and with ease.
“We strongly encourage all visitors to support our local beverage industry by buying glasses of wine or beer to enjoy on the day, and order some to take home.”
“There will also be a range of tapas style food to round off the exhibitor offering.”
Buy and store
To make the festival even more user friendly there will be complimentary Wine Locker service, visitors can safely store their purchases until they are ready to leave.
Up your UnWined game
After a sell out last year, the VIP Club Lounge is back for its third year. An exclusive retreat where patrons can enjoy local wine, beer and food, along with their own under cover and garden courtyard seating and private toilets.
Wine and learn
Also back this year is the Wine Theatre, which will be home to four wine & food pairings and two wine appreciation classes over the two days. The sessions will be hosted by the team from Wine Education with the pairings being matched with food cooked by a local Perth chef.
Subiaco get’s behind UnWined
This year, the event organisers and See Subiaco are extending the festival program through a series of dinners, functions and tastings commencing the week prior to the event.
The Culinary Series and will raise the focus on wine, producers, food, the festival and the region.
“It provides an opportunity to expose fantastic Subiaco restaurants, along with great wine from the event and encourages people to visit the region and extend their dining experience”, explains Richard.
Subiaco restaurants and venues have been invited to collaborate with the wineries from the event to host one of the Culinary Series functions.
The Culinary Series will run 21 October – 27 October and tickets will go on sale mid-September.
The UnWined Subiaco festival will finish off the Culinary Series on the Saturday and Sunday.
