Two of Woolworths online shopping services have been paused.
Increase demand on national grocery giant Woolworths has caused their online shopping services Delivery Now and Pick up to be paused.
In a statement released today by a Woolworths spokesperson:
We have temporarily paused our online ‘Pick up’ and ‘Delivery Now’ services due to temporary shortages on a number of items and to allow our teams to focus on serving customers in-store.
Refunds on any existing orders are currently being processed.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience during this time.
**Online standard delivery is still being provided by Woolworths, however, with low stock levels on high demand products some orders may not be filled and your regular timeslot might already be booked.**

While competitor Coles has not paused any of their online services they are currently experiencing significant demand for Coles Online and as a result, the Customer Care line is receiving high volumes of calls.
The reduced capability of Woolworths and Coles online shopping will now increase stress on local stores as they already battle to support current demands.
