Work-life balance the way it should be!

For some punters, you received the bare minimum time off over Christmas and New Year’s. For some of the lucky few this working week is your first week back at work and no doubt you are already dreaming about your next break.

While Australia Day falls on a weekend this year, allowing us to take advantage of a long weekend – it might not be enough to cure the holiday blues.

Well we have some good news for you!

Be quick to lock in this annual leave period to get the most bang for your leave with 17 days for the price of 8.

This is the work hack you might want to keep quiet from your co-workers and or team.

In May you can apply for 8 days of leave and obtain 17 days off work – that’s over half a month off from the day to day grind.

Amazing! How you ask?

It all starts on Good Friday the 19th of April.

You will need to book off from the 19/4 until the 5/5. This will allow you to make the most of your annual leave taking into account 3 public holidays (Good Friday, Easter Monday and ANZAC Day) and 3 weekends. Giving you an additional 9 days on top of the 8 days of leave you will have to take within the time frames work weeks.

Time to crack open the beers and the G&T’s!

Now what to do with all that free time?
