This is a HUGE game for both teams, who will come out on top?

The West Coast Eagles come into round 22 on the back off a 17-point win over Carlton at Domain Stadium last week. Josh Kennedy continued his AMAZING form and bagged six goals, Jamie Cripps finished with three goals and Jack Darling and Jack Redden managed two goals each. Kennedy is currently leading the 2017 Coleman Medal race, looking likely to secure the win for an incredible THIRD time.

The Eagles have made two changes to their line up this week to take on GWS at Spotless Stadium. Tom Barrass and Josh Hill have both been included into the 25, while Jackson Nelson and Sharrod Wellingham have been omitted. Kennedy will receive a lot of attention from the GWS defenders who will be trying to limit his scoreboard dominance. This will be the time for Jack Darling to kick his good form up a notch and provide the midfielders with a strong target inside their forward 50.

The Giants have made quite a few changes to their line-up this week. Big Shane Mumford is back in the 25-man squad after missing last week due to suspension. Jeremy Cameron has also been included, along with Adam Tomlinson and Devon Smith. They come in for Stevie J, who is out with a knee injury, and Dawson Simpson, Matthew Kennedy and Harrison Himmelberg who have all been omitted. Toby Greene avoided suspension last week for fly kicking Bulldog Luke Dahlhaus in the face and he will play this week. Greene always seems to fire up under pressure and when it counts the most, he could really cause some grief for the Eagles.

Keep an eye out for the Josh Kennedy v Phil Davis match-up in West Coast’s forward line. Kennedy is, without a doubt, one of the best forwards in the competition. Very few people can give JK a run for his money however, I think Phil Davis will give it a red-hot crack and lead the way in the GWS backline.

I’m tipping the GWS Giants to beat the West Coast Eagles by 13 points!
