Another big Perth Lightning storm is forecast for some areas
Sever weather and possible lightning is forecast for coastal areas north of Perth, and it extends to areas of the city.
From BOM WA:
Severe thunderstorm activity is possible throughout the warning area during this afternoon and evening.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.
Locations which may be affected include Geraldton, Kalbarri, Moora, Northam, Mullewa and Northampton.
Storms could cause DAMAGE TO HOMES AND PROPERTY.
The warning comes after Perth lightning storms kept most of the city up very early this morning and late last night.
The sky cracked with booming thunder and sheets of lightning. One strike also caused a fire at a Parkwood home.
