Ben Gerring Go Fund Me Campaign – Crowdsourcing Donations for Perth Shark Attack Victim

A crowd funding campaign is underway for Falcon shark attack victim, 29-year-old Ben Gerring.

The Go Fund Me campaign aims to raise $100,000 for the victim of the Tuesday shark attack.

Ben Gerring lost most of his leg when he was bitten by a great white shark while surfing off Falcon, south of Mandurah.

“Ben Gerring was attacked by a shark late Tuesday afternoon – if it wasn’t for the quick thinking of his mates it could have been a different situation,” the campaign says.

“Ben is currently in an induced coma and the situation is still critical”

The campaign aimed to raise funds to help Ben and partner Jas “in any way possible.”

“The family would like to thank everyone for the ongoing suppore, your messages are keeping the family spirits high.”
