Travel between London and Australia in four and half hours.
Our planet is about to become a lot smaller! A direct flight taking 17 hours will be so yesterday… well come 2050.
We just revealed a new hypersonic vehicle concept @AIAA Aviation – a
concept that one day could redefine aviation and connect the world faster than
ever before. What do you think? https://t.co/AvsNlc7aLf pic.twitter.com/P5nbxGnlOd— Dennis A. Muilenburg (@BoeingCEO) June 26, 2018
Boeing has unveiled a sleek, new hypersonic passenger plane capable of crossing the globe in hours, which could be available in 20 to 30 years.
The concept aircraft, unveiled at the American Institute of Aeronautics Aviation 2018 conference in Atlanta, would be capable of travelling at 5x the speed of sound – that’s approximately 6500 km/h.

But what does it mean?
The speed the new hypersonic passenger plane could reduce the trip between New York and London to 2 hours and the flight between Australia and Europe to less than 5 hours.
More importantly what about Bali?
How quick would a trip to Bali then be? Well based on maths if there was an actual flight going from Perth to Bali would take 30 minutes.
