WA now has 90 known confirmed cases of coronavirus.
Western Australia has recently confirmed another 26 cases of coronavirus, which now brings the total people infected to 90.
A breakdown of the newly confirmed 26 cases 12 are men and 14 are women and they are aged from 18 through to 72.
With an 18-year-old now becoming infected in WA, this will no doubt send shockwaves throughout the community that young-adults aren’t as immune as they may have first thought.

Roger Cook confirmed that at this stage they known 15 of the new cases have come from travel or close contact of travellers. Which means 9 of the new confirmed cases their source of infection is unknown at this stage.
The 26 new confirmed cases are WA’s biggest daily increase yet – seeing our states total increase by 140% in a day and approximately 529% in the last week.
Despite the 26 new cases recorded in WA, NSW saw a spike of 83 new cases taking the state’s total to 436.
QLD recorded 37 and VIC 51.
