There’s never been a better time to grab a beer.
Australian Venue Co has launched ‘Beer for Mates’- a nationwide fundraiser to assist those affected by the Queensland and NSW floods.
From the 9th until Thursday the 31st of March, $1 from schooners and $2 from pint sales of select beers purchased across all 180 venues in Australia will be donated to the Red Cross Qld and NSW Floods Appeal.
Here in WA, donations will come from the sales of Furphy beer.
The fundraising efforts from Beer for Mates will help the Red Cross get volunteers and staff on the ground at relief centers and outreach services and assist in supporting people and communities who have been hit the hardest.
