Clint Nolan – perhaps Perth’s most prolific hospitality name, and the master behind places like La Cholita, Toots, Henry Summer, Sneaky Tony’s, Alabama Song, Joe’s Juice Joint, and more – has just rolled out the red carpet for his brand new venue La Condesa.
Opening its doors on Wednesday 28 September, the vibes here will be Mexican resort, slightly similar to that of sister venue La Cholita, in a display of oh-so-delicious margaritas and Summer in Tulum surrounds. Think chic interior of warm browns, rusty reds, light pinks, and deep blues with cactus nopales hanging from the walls, handcrafted tables, eclectic clay pots, and over 160 bottles of tequila behind the bar.
You’ll easily slip into summer vacay mode with a drinks menu boasting an impressive vino list, your favourite Mexican beers, margarita-inspired mocktails, and a stellar selection of premium tequila. The talented crew will be shaking up some of Subi’s best margaritas to indulge in, from the iconic Classic to the Coco, Smoky Pineapple, and a delicious Spicy Passionfruit & Jalapeño. You’ll seriously struggle to stop after just one, so we’d recommend you don’t drive in.
Foodwise, if you’ve ever had the delight of tasting the wholesome Mexican flavours pouring out of La Cholita’s kitchen you’ll know you’re in for a treat. The eats here will be oozing with authenticity with options aplenty from fresh small plates, an extensive selection of tacos, quesadillas, hearty bigger plates, sides, and sweets. And if you’ve got dietary requirements don’t sweat – they cater for dairy free, gluten intolerance, vegan and vego preferences on top of it all.
