The food and bar scene in Subiaco is heating up, and a brand new Modern-Asian fusion venue is set to join the club in the near future.
Shui (as in feng shui) is the brainchild of WA legends Leigh Power and Benny Tua, who are teaming up in the iconic powerhouse duo we never knew we needed.
These guys are big names in the hospitality world. Leigh, WA’s Chef of the Year 2022, has headed renowned establishments such as The Old Synagogue, The Beaufort, Ginger Boy, and Sweetwater Rooftop Bar, while partner Benny Tua has been involved with his fair share of Perth bars like Mechanic’s Institute, El Grotto, and again The Old Synagogue and Sweetwater Rooftop Bar. Fair to say the place is in very good hands.
Shui will take over the old Funtastico site at 12 Rokeby Road, and the menu will be an explosion of the bold, Modern-Asian fusion flavours that Power is so famously renowned for.
