Most people know Feral Brewing for their IPA (Hop Hog), this is like a toned down version; fruity, refreshing and with a lower abv so it doesn’t knock you about like its older brother.

Pirate Life: Throwback IPA (3.5%)

Just because they’re from Adelaide doesn’t mean we should hold it against them. Pirate Life designed the Throwback IPA for intelligent and sexy humans who’d like to be able to ‘throw back’ a few cans of a zealously hopped ale.

Like your hops? The Nail Brewing Red Ale is a hearty and hoppy red ale for those who like a bigger all round beer.

While it’s an Australian beer, Mash Brewing have created a big, hoppy American-style IPA. It’s fair to say that this list wouldn’t be complete without it!

Gage Roads: Narrow Neck (3.9%)

Mid-strength isn’t a dirty word! Gage Roads Narrow Neck is the higher end of the mid-strength scale, which gives it more flavour than most mids out there.

Bootleg Brewery: Raging Bull (7.1%)

Bootleg Brewery have produced a classic dark ale, which is a real staple in most beer lovers fridges.

The name says it all ‘Old Reliable’. The Cheeky Monkey pale ale is a slightly maltier pale than some of the fruitier ones on this list. Also it comes in a can for easy transport and easy tidy up.

I had the add this beer in there as the Eagle Bay Brewing Kolsch is my personal favourite in all of Western Australia! The Kolsch is a German style ale, which drinks like a lager. It’s light and bright, making it the perfect beer for an Aussie summers day!
