If you’re a true Swiftie then you’ve probably spent the past seven months, since The Eras Tour was first announced in November of 2022, in anticipation of today’s news. Taylor Swift has finally announced the international dates for her iconic tour and she will be coming to Australia this February. Cruel Summer? I think not.
When and where?
Oh, Eras Tour, I Knew You Were Trouble when I first heard all the rumours swirling that you wouldn’t be coming to Perth. Yes, that’s right, despite having visited the majority of Australia’s capital cities on past tours, Taylor Swift will only be visiting Melbourne and Sydney this time around. Now Perth, there’s no need for Bad Blood, she will be holding five nights of shows which gives us all plenty of opportunity to flock to the Eastern States, depending on your budget, of course.
The Melbourne shows will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Sydney’s shows will be at Accor Stadium.

What is The Eras Tour?
The Eras Tour is a compilation of Taylor Swift’s top hits, including songs from all 10 of her albums from the past 17 years. Assuming that the international shows will follow the same framework as the United States shows, we can expect to see 10 distinct acts, each portraying one of Taylor Swift’s albums conceptually. The concert will more than likely run for over three hours.
Swift has described The Eras Tour as “a journey through the musical eras of her career.” For many of us lifelong Swifties, the eras of Taylor Swift’s musical career are the eras of our lives. There are so many albums and songs linked to distinct memories, people, and moments in time. There’s no doubt this concert will be a walk down memory lane, filled with a perfect mix of nostalgia, heartbreak, longing, and love.
So, Swifties, are you …Ready For It?
