The Kings Park Festival is a long-running tradition to celebrate spring and the wonderful wildflowers that appear throughout the south-west of Western Australia during this time. The 2015 Kings Park Festival will run from 1 – 30 September and will celebrate ‘Beauty Rich and Rare’.
With so many plants and wildflowers found nowhere else on Earth, Western Australia is a true haven for beauty rich and rare – making it the perfect theme for the 2015 Kings Park Festival!

Along with the blooming Botanic Gardens, there will be ample events and activities taking place throughout the month to keep the whole family entertained – there is something for everyone at Kings Park this September.
Funky Trunks
See some of Kings Park’s trees like you’ve never seen them before – dressed up and ready to party this wildflower season!
Follow the trail throughout the State’s Botanic Garden and delight in the quirky creative interpretation of some of Kings Park’s most significant trees.
Aspects Window Art
Take in the eye-catching window art that decorates the front of Aspects of Kings Park throughout spring. Designed by Future Shelter, the installation is inspired by the 2015 Kings Park Festival’s theme of Beauty, Rich and Rare.
Bella Umbrellas
In a playful addition to the Kings Park Festival calendar, be dazzled by the Bella Umbrellas adorning the entrance to Aspects of Kings Park gallery shop this September. A nice tip -the best spot to view the creation is at the Visitor Information Centre or Botanical Cafe.
Botanic Garden Secrets Walk
Learn the secrets of creating a world-class botanic garden. This walk promises you a new appreciation for Western Australia’s incredible flora.
Meet Kings Park’s talented horticulturists and gain insight into the horticultural practices used in the Western Australian Botanic Garden.
