Perth people should also upload pictures and messages to social media with the hashtags #IGDD and #GetOnBoardWithGuideDogs.
Our good friends at Guide Dogs WA are urging individuals to bring cash and coins into the city to donate.
Guide Dogs WA are aiming to raise $35,000 for much needed training and support services.
The history of Guide Dogs WA goes back decades, with perth home to the first ever Guide Dog to be trained in Australia. Beau, a Kelpie/Border Collie cross was trained right here in Perth back in 1952.
Beau and his blind owner Mrs Elsie Mead travelled all over Australia promoting Guide Dog mobility.
If you can’t get into the CBD on April 27, you can donate to the appeal now.
