Perth Zoo To Reopen June 6th: Reservations Will Be Required

The good news just keeps coming after the announcement that Perth COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted to allow venues to have 100 people max capacity, Perth Zoo has been quick to announce that they will also be reopening after having to close their doors on March 24th.

But before you start making any plans, you won’t just be able to rock up on the 6th as Perth Zoo processes have changed.

For contact tracing purposes if required by health authorities, everyone, including our valued Zoo Friends members will need to register their visit via our new reservation system.

You’ll need to bring your valid reservation and current membership card or pre-purchased ticket(s) with you when coming to see your Zoo animal friends.

No tickets will be sold at the Zoo gates. This is to ensure we can get you through the doors quick smart to start your Zoo adventure, reduce queuing and avoid cash handling. 

As an expansive 19ha outdoor experience, Perth Zoo is one of the safest places for you and your family and friends to begin visiting again. Health and safety a top priority and to ensure everyone maintains a healthy distance paw prints have been stuck down in high traffic areas.

Perth Zoo have also increased their cleaning schedule and installed multiple hygiene stations around the Zoo for your convenience.
