The Lip Lab Perth – a new fashion phenomenon comes to Fremantle and Perth City
Move over Kylie Jenner, there is a new Lip maker in town. It’s ME!
Ever since I can remember, I’ve always dreamed of how glamorous it would be to make my own lipstick. A one-of-a-kind creation with my own sassy flare and vibrancy – I secretly always kept that dream on my “If I win the lottery” list.
Now, with the help of The Lip Lab opening in Perth, all my girlie childhood dreams are coming true.
The Lip Lab lets you custom blend your own lipstick shade and then they make it for you, right then and there, in the store. The process is relatively straight forward, it involves heating, mixing and then cooling your lipstick in there state of the art lipstick moulds.
Best yet, you have the power to control the whole process: the colour, the flavour, the finish, the amount of shimmer, the name, the container… let your OCD flourish.
The process usually takes between 15 to 30 minutes depending on the complexity of the lipstick and then at the end of it all you get to take your savvy new shade home then and there.
The Lip Lab also keeps a record of your creation and will also provide you with a consultation card specifying the blend if you wish to re-order, that way you’ll always have the correct combination – your very own secret recipe to lipstick euphoria.
When it comes to pricing I was pleasantly surprised, with Lipstick creation starting from $55 and gradually working its way up depending on the amount of lipsticks you would like to create.
It’s an absolute must with spring carnival season upon us, all Perth fashionistas will be lining up to create the perfect shade to “WOW” the shock the judges of Fashion on the Fields or stun that special someone on those perfect spring nights.
