See a different side of Perth from the top of Matagarup Bridge.

Perth’s newest attraction, the Matagarup Bridge climb is on track to open on January 26, with more than 2,000 tickets already sold.

The bridge climb will be offered at an introductory price of $59 per person with photos of the experience emailed directly to participants. A virtual reality climb is also under development to ensure people of all ages and mobility can enjoy the experience.

How high will you be up on Matagarup Bridge climb?

The bridge climb will involve a 314-step trek up the bridge’s main arch, ascending 58 metres to the ‘sky view’ platform before descending along the other side of the arch.

Transport Minister Rita Saffioti states “this exciting new attraction will bring locals and tourists to the area, thrilling people who have been waiting eagerly since we first announced the activities project in 2018.”

“Tickets have been on sale less than a month and already more than 2,000 have been sold.” said Rita Saffioti.

There will even be night-climbs, including full-moon tours, giving participants a unique birds-eye view of Perth City and its surrounds under colourful night lights.
