Entwined in the Valley is just around the corner so if you haven’t already it’s time to study the program for the can’t miss events.

Entwined in the Valley is back and ready to showcase the best of the Swan Valley with more than 45 homegrown, boutique events over four days from Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, October 13.

This year sees a stellar line up of guest and events, but more specifically for the foodies of Perth, we thought it would be best to dive in and hand-pick five of the best eats and drinks events on the calendar.

My Food, My Love Story

Five foodie events to savour at Entwined in the Valley

Masterclass and a mysterious lunch.

Join chef and TV presenter Vincent Lim as he presents My Food, My Love Story at the bustling Swan Settlers Market.

The day starts with a foodie masterclass with My Kitchen Rules mother and son duo Anna and Jordan Bruno, who will teach you the secrets to making gnocchi.

Once you have worked up an appetite, enjoy an Asian feast of share-style dishes with an exotic and mysterious twist with Chef Vincent. The room will be themed in New Asian meets Suzy Wong in the Swan Valley for an intimate authentic dining experience.

Picnic in the Sculpture Park

The perfect combination – art, food and wine event.

Meet multi-awarded hosts, Ron and Terrie Gomboc, before meandering through 4.5 hectares of Ron’s incredible sculptures.

While in the Sculpture Park you will have the opportunity to relax and be tantalised by the picnic offerings prepared by Vincenzo Velletri and the Slow Food Convivium with the Slow Food ethos of using seasonal and local produce reflecting the region’s cultural food styles.

While you are there, don’t forget to visit neighboring winery Garbin Estate Wines to grab a couple of award-winning beverages.

Cornucopia

Enjoy an evening of abundance.

Swan Valley favourite Taylor’s Art & Coffee House have teamed up with Prince of Flesh, Vince Garreffa of Mondo di Carne for an Italian feast.

Joining the party will be Mann Winery and Corymbia Wines, who are part of one of the oldest Swan Valley winemaking families.

The final product will be a shared feast-style dining including plenty of fresh vegetables from the cafe garden, the option to purchase local wines to match and live music.

The event will also see part proceeds go to Lifeline, a charity close to Vince Garreffa’s heart.

Triple Treat at Swan Valley Gourmet

Enjoy a sundowner in the valley.

Swan Valley Gourmet Farm Cafe is teaming up with Harris Organic Wines and local artists for two triple-the-fun sundowners.

On offer will be three types of finger food and three wines while browsing the work of the artist in residence, Brad Swordstone, who paints live at the cafe.

Other artists exhibiting will include Wolly Wolters who makes sculptures from reclaimed metal pieces and Judith Ann, a local calligrapher.

Swan Valley Gourmet Farm Cafe is also a Coeliac Australia accredited cafe.

Italian Culture Night

Enjoy delicious modern and traditional food from an open wood-fired pizza oven and live Italian music.

Traditional Italian chef Vincenzo Vettetri will take guests on a journey through time and the rich cultural heritage of the Swan Valley at Belvoir’s original 1830s rustic barn.

Always wanted to try your hand at pottery?

There will be a pot-throwing demonstration by local potter Lee Woodcock, with the chance to have a go at throwing your own pot as a memento of the night included in the ticket, with a complimentary glass of Swan Valley wine on arrival.
