Get Pedalling And Make A Difference At the MSWA Ocean Ride

Put on those bike shoes and lycra pants and pedal for a purpose.

Spin those wheels for a cause that really moves people and join WA’s largest community cycling event, now in its 15th year and sporting a fresh location with new routes to conquer.

The MSWA Ocean Ride is an annual charity bike ride that will take place on Sunday, 6th April with a backdrop of some of Perth’s most iconic scenery.

If you’re no powerhouse cyclist or cardio queen then fear not, because there’s a range of course lengths to suit all fitness levels, ages, and abilities from a short 10km family ride to an epic 130km challenge.

Not only will you be getting sweaty and having fun whilst taking in the dazzling views, your participation will also help make a real difference to the thousands of West Australians living with neurological conditions.

Chances are, you or someone you know has a reason to ride for a loved one or mutual friend living with these conditions, which can range from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, and Huntington’s Disease — just to name a few.

Whatever your motivation, you can participate solo or encourage the whole office, family, or friend group to get together and join as a team to raise money and cycle the MSWA Ocean Ride.

25km and 50km Rides

100km Challenge

While this challenge is scenic, you’re likely signing up for the challenge more than the views. You’ll start and finish the ride at the Event Village in Burswood Park — the exact course you’ll embark on will be confirmed and made available closer to the event day.

Entry fees start at $110.00 for the 100km ride — sign up and see more details here.

130km Challenge

It’s a brand new route and distance and isn’t for the faint-hearted. This is the longest distance of the lot and will challenge you and push your limits. And that’s what makes the reward so much better.

You’ll be riding along the Swan River for most of the challenge, before making your way back to Burswood Park, where you’ll cross the finish line to rambunctious applause and cheers.

Entry fees start at $130.00 for the 130km ride — sign up and see more details here

How Your Participation Helps Someone In Need
