Adelaide born magician, mentalist and Australian Survivor contestant Matt Tarrant has taken FRINGE WORLD by storm with his award-winning show “Honestly Dishonest” which has opened in Perth for the first time.
“Honestly Dishonest” stars Tarrant whose shows have won consecutive awards at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 – the first act to accomplish such a feat at the prestigious festival.
Unlike traditional magic shows “Honestly Dishonest” takes a modern approach to magic with a focus on interactive, jaw-dropping and mind-bending magic – all combined with Tarrant’s relaxed and comedic nature.
“Honestly Dishonest was created as my ode to magic, but we’ve removed all the top hats, dancing girls and rabbits to create a new style of magic show that really connects with today’s audiences – this is the future of magic” says Tarrant.
The magic in “Honestly Dishonest” is world class and has been created by Tarrant and his team of magicians including Kyle Marlett who is well known for creating magic for the likes of Dynamo, Criss Angel and Darcy Oake.
“I wanted to bring world-class magic to FRINGE WORLD and some of the routines in “Honestly Dishonest” will be seen for the very first time anywhere around the world – and I can’t wait to amaze and bring a little more magic to Perth.”
Tarrant has recently returned from Samoa, where he appeared as a contestant on Network Ten’s Australian Survivor – lasting fifty-one days and finishing fifth.
“Survivor was the toughest challenge of my life; physically, mentally and emotionally – and I took so many learnings from it which I can now take on stage. If I can survive in those stressful situations – on stage will be a breeze!” Tarrant exclaims.

Honestly Dishonest appears at Noodle Palace at 6:40pm every night from Friday 20th January to Sunday 19th February, 2017.
