Perth Royal Show is on 23 – 30 September at Claremont Showground.

In what has become a school holiday tradition, people from all over WA flock to the Claremont Showground with around 400,000 people attending each year and no doubt this year’s Royal Show will be bigger and better – so it’s important to plan your journey ahead of time.
Planning your journey to the Royal Show
Parking at the Showgrounds can be a stressful experience unless you’re an early bird and unfortunately it can sometimes be hard to wrangle all the kids together to get out of the house early – making it hard to find parking spaces once you arrive at the Show.
Loads of extra services are running so show goers can spend more time in Sideshow Alley and less in the parking lot.
Public transport is also the easiest and cheapest way to get to the Royal Show. A FamilyRider ticket costs just $12.60 (allowing for up to 7 passengers – 2 standard and 5 concession) for the entire day.
Not a family? You can still purchase tickets at stations, or use a SmartRider.
During Show week, Transperth increases their train services with an extra 2,187 services during the week – which is about 273 additional trips every day – ensuring you can easily make your way to and from the show.

Midland Line Announcement
Please be advised from the evening of Thursday 21st September until last service Monday 25th September, there will be a complete Midland Line Shutdown in order to facilitate works for the East Perth Station Upgrade.
