It’s heating up in Perth as the Scorchers’ season heads into full swing.

Kicking off this October, the Perth Scorchers will be defending their maiden Weber Women’s Big Bash League title as they aim for back-to-back championship trophies – catch them in action at one of their six home matches.

WBBL is more than just a cricket match, it’s a fun-filled day out for families without a big hit on costs.

In addition to matches at the WACA Ground, the Perth Scorchers will bring matches back to the Swan Valley with two free family days out at Lilac Hill on Saturday 5, and Sunday 6 November, with food, music, carnival rides and plenty of cricket.

Book tickets via Ticketek or read on to learn more.

The Ultimate Family Day Out

If you’re looking for family festival fun on a budget, look no further.

Though cricket is the main show, there is plenty of other entertainment at Perth Scorchers matches to keep you and the little ones entertained all day long.

The Scorchers Retro Match will see a day of throwbacks to music and games from years gone by, while the inaugural Pride Match encourages visitors to don their rainbow gear and pull out their best moves to dance along to their favourite LGBTQIA+ anthems.

Out at Lilac Hill, the crowd favourite Dog Day encourages everyone to bring their furry companions along to the match as the Scorchers aim to crack their pooch attendance record!

You’ll also be able to attend a themed Aboriginal Match for a special afternoon connecting to country and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, plus join a sea of orange in the final match of the season at Lilac Hill that’s sure to be an absolute winner.

We’d definitely recommend heading to Lilac Hill this year to check it all out. Whether you’re an avid cricket fan or not, both days will be jam-packed with tasty food stalls, colourful carnival rides, blasting music, and all the cricket action up close for you to cheer on the Scorchers.
