Karrinyup shopping centre is transforming over the school holidays.
Potterheads of all ages can enjoy some of their favourite moments from J.K Rowling’s captivating stories with custom-designed sets including the Halls of Hogwarts, Platform 9 3⁄4 and other iconic film locations from 27 September to 9 October.
Budding witches and wizards will begin their journey when they spot the Hogwarts Express parked at Platform 9 3⁄4 for a quick photo op grabbing the trolley running through the enchanted brick-wall entrance.
Then, you’ll pass through the gates of Hogwarts into the Great Hall, where the sorting hat awaits for your next photo moment before heading into Potions Class to try your hand at mastering a spell. The Gryffindor Common Room will also be open for visitors, with your opportunity to disappear under the invisibility cloak for a truly enchanting photo.
You’ll also find the Quidditch Pitch decked out in true game-day spirit with flags, coloured banners and stadium stands under which you can test out your broomstick skills. Aspiring Quidditch stars will have the chance to take part in a Seeker training game, snap an action shot in a Quaffle Toss and then head around the corner for yet another photo opportunity with The Whomping Willow clutching the Flying Ford Anglia.
To experience all these magical free activities, you’ll need to book your spot ahead of time so you don’t miss out. Karrinyup will also be hosting special sensory sessions for families with sensory needs from 9am – 11am on Sunday 2 and 9 of October.
