Super Bowl Watch Party at Optus Stadium

It’s touted as one of the biggest sporting events of the year and is known just as much for the half-time show as it is for the game itself. That’s right, we’re talking about the Super Bowl.
This year, Optus Stadium said “hold my beer” and has proceeded to plan out what will be the biggest Super Bowl watch party that Perth has seen.
They’re hosting it in the Sports Lounge at Optus Stadium with access to the seating bowl so you can also watch the game and half-time show on the Stadium Super Screens. It’ll also be live-streamed on all the screens in the Sports Lounge so no matter where you are, you won’t miss a second of the action. There’ll also be a live DJ to up the level of entertainment, a roaming photobooth, and some really sweet door prizes up for grabs.
This year’s half-time show will feature American rapper, Kendrick Lamar, which is sure to make it one of the best half-time shows yet. Last time Kendrick performed at the Super Bowl was the Super Bowl LVI halftime show alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige.

Wildcats vs 36ers

There are just two home games left of the season — one tonight against S.E. Melbourne Phoenix and then against Adelaide 36ers in what will be the last game of the regular season.
The Wildcats will be hoping to win all remaining games so get down there and cheer them on.

Fringe
We’re in the middle of another Fringe season a lot of shows that are getting rave reviews. From comedy shows to awe-inspiring acrobatic displays, there are a range of shows and performances to suit just about anyone’s taste. Pair it with dinner at one of the nearby restaurants and make it the perfect date night, especially with Valentine’s Day rapidly approaching.
A couple of the shows we’d recommend are:
MANBO

Step aside Stallone! Sam Dugmore is back by popular demand! He’s locked and loaded as the greatest action hero of all time, unearthing his ruthless man skills to confront his worst nemesis… himself. A dead-sexy mission, chaos, 80s singing, dancing, workout montages, explosions, evil Russians, suppressed raw male emotion and a dog called Fluffy. Extremely camp, extremely silly, extremely entertaining, extremely MANBO.
All of Me: Jazz Rewritten by Jessie Gordon

One of Perth’s best Jazz singers, Jessie Gordon is back for what will be a sold out series of shows at The Ellington Jazz Club. It guarantees to be the perfect night of great music, laughter, and entertainment as anyone who’s seen Jessie perform would already know.
