Youth Beach Party / Supplied

Young people aged 12-18 are invited to the City of Rockingham’s Youth Beach Party. The free event is at Rockingham Foreshore from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

DJ Jeremy Tucker and youth artists will get the party started with live music, and there will be waterslides, a cultural activity marquee, beach volleyball, inflatable dodgeball, and a photo booth for kids to have fun with. Tame your hunger and quench your thirst with burgers, slushies, and chilled water.

Royal Life Saving WA will share water safety messages, while the Rockingham Youth Reference Group will run activities to promote the Rockingham Youth Centre.

“The Youth Beach Party is a popular annual event that gives local young people the chance to connect and enjoy an afternoon just for them at our spectacular foreshore,” Mayor Deb Hamblin said.

Delivered by the Rockingham Youth Centre team, the event is part of the city’s ‘Summer Series’ of free-entry, smoke-free, alcohol-free, and family-friendly events.
