Back again in 2021, YELLO Festival returns to the State Buildings from Friday October 8 to Sunday October 17 showcasing the taste and wonder of spring.
There is always something different to eat, drink and discover in Perth and the YELLO Festival at the State Buildings ticks all of the above with unique events that will indulge the senses this spring.

Koh Samui Beach Party
Beach vibes are welcome at YELLO Festival – Koh Samui Beach Party as you descend into a courtyard paradise sipping on piña coladas and snacking on tongue-tingling Thai street food.
Extra thirsty beach goers can enjoy $30 Singha buckets all afternoon long.
As the last sunny rays begin to dwindle, LXXVERS DJs Aarom Wilson and Saschy Sing will be pumping up the tempo with some golden tunes to give our smashing spring festival a proper send-off…

YELLO at Wildflower
For an experience unlike any other and for an exceptional afternoon, guests will enjoy exquisite canapés, followed by a four-course tasting menu curated by Wildflower mastermind, Matthew Sartori and matched with wines by Emma Farrelly.
All the while internationally acclaimed soprano, Sara Macliver, will perform alongside accomplished WASO harpist, Will Nichols.

YELLO Sessions
It’s no secret beer and acoustic sessions are a perfect pair.
The Beer Corner will transform into an intimate live acoustic oasis, with the first series of YELLO Sessions.
Guests can pull up a cushion, grab a brew from the 20 rotating taps featuring some of Western Australia’s best brewers and immerse yourself in two of Western Australia’s finest live music acts.
Taking the stage will be Helen Shanahan, as she rides the joys and sorrows of life with her contemporary folk sounds, or slow down with the soulful brilliance of Solomon Pitt and Jackson Venables.
With only 20 seats available at each of these intimate sessions, this is a live and local concert experience not to be missed.

Music Quiz
Continuing the theme of beers and tunes, the Beer Corner is calling all music buffs.
Passionate about pop or fancy yourself a rock god? The team at Beer Corner are ready to put your knowledge to the ultimate test with a little help from the gurus at The One Good Thing Music Quiz.
What can you expect? Sip on $7.50 large pours as you and your team put your heads together for three rounds of music mayhem in the quest to become music royalty.
Snacks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Tables may be booked for 4, 6 or 8 people.

YELLO Salon
The grand canopy of the State Building will transform into a golden salon of indulgence in a moment to sip and savor.
Soak up the stunning sounds of Dolce Duo, Kathryn Shinnick and Sidney Harvey, paired with an exquisitely Western Australian afternoon tea, bursting with vibrant creations from the acclaimed State Buildings’ pastry team.
The afternoon tea collection will be served alongside a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, as well as perfectly brewed tea and coffee.
