If you were hoping for a great third game – the Wildcats definitely delivered!
What a game it was! As predicted, the clash was an exciting one. There were bust ups, killer steals and one EPIC dunk from Cats super star import Casey Prather on Hawk AJ Ogilvy. I’m still geeking out about how good that one-handed dunk was!

The Perth Wildcats will now play the New Zealand Breakers in the grand final series with game one taking place at Perth Arena. Game two will be played in New Zealand and if a game three is needed, it will take place back in Perth. Hooray!
Perth Wildcats produced an amazing defensive effort over the Hawks on Friday night and did exactly what they needed to do to secure the win. They cut off all of the Hawks scoring options and produced points off every steal.
Damian Martin was at his defensive best and gave Hawk Kevin Lisch a run for his money. Jermaine Beal and Jesse Wagstaff put on a scoring show, both finishing on 17 points. The ever-reliable Matty Knight and Casey Prather also had an impact on the scoreboard, both finishing on 15 points.
Hawks Kevin Lisch made a miraculous return after suffering an ankle injury and missing game two. He was deemed to be a problem for the Cats but only managed 11 points for the game.
The Perth Wildcats outplayed the Hawks and after a great season, they 100% deserve to be in the Grand Final.
I am SO excited to watch that Wildcats take on the Breakers. Let’s bring it home boys!
