1. New York now has the most coronavirus cases of anywhere in the world.

New York not only has the most COVID-19 cases compared to the numbers coming out of other States, but it beats out all other countries.

NY has more than 152,000 confirmed cases of its own, more cases than any single country in the world.

The harrowing figures come after officials warned this week would be the hardest of many New Yorkers lives.

Tragically, they were not wrong. The death toll now stands at over 7,000.

2. Remote learning done right

Teachers across the world are delivering classes over the internet.

But some students struggle with this more than others.

Luckily, there are teachers out there who prove not all heroes wear capes.

Katie Ricca, a teacher in the Florida town Panama City, reads stories to her class every day.

But when one student was largely withdrawn over the virtual classes, this teacher went the extra mile.

For the elderly Australian, who suffers from dimentia, the weekly Coles run was a big part of her life. When that vanished, she started to struggle.

Rather than sink into worry and despair though, her family decided to help, by bringing Coles to her.

5. Baby number 22 welcomed by family amid pandemic

Parents around the world are realising just how hard it is to be home with kids all day.

Usually they’re talking about one or two.

But in this family’s case, we’re talking about almost two dozen.

Britain’s largest family just expanded by another baby, while the world outside stays in lockdown and global economies grind to a halt.
