On Tuesday, April 25th, Rampage will be taking its final ride. After 22 years, Adventure World has decided to say goodbye to make room for better thrills and bigger adrenaline rushes.

The ride first opened in the Summer of 2001 and quickly became one of the park’s biggest attractions. With almost 1 million riders sitting in its seats over the years, Rampage is known as one of the biggest thrill rides ever to hit Western Australia.

The $1.8 million ride stands at 13.5 meters high and has attracted park-goers, adrenaline junkies, and theme-park enthusiasts from far and wide for over two decades.

‘We’ve got park lovers who’ve been back season after season to ride Rampage, so we know it’s been responsible for plenty of fun not only for the people of Western Australia, but for those who have travelled far and wide to experience it.’ said Adventure World CEO Andrew Sharry.

Described as a high thrill ride delivering a fast-paced and slightly aggressive experience to the rider, Rampage has various speeds, and two offset arms that make for a stomach-squeezing experience, not for the faint of heart.

For those who’ve always wanted to give the ride a go, now is your last chance. And for all those longtime Rampage lovers who’ve sat in the ride’s seat with a pounding heart over the last 22 years, this is your last call for one last ride and a final goodbye.

‘Retiring a ride is not something that happens every day, and although we’ll miss the thrills that Rampage delivers, the timing is right.’ said Sharry.

There’s no news of what will replace Rampage at Adventure World or when it might arrive. But, it’s safe to assume that many more thrills will come.
