In this month’s biggest news, Ikea has just announced they’re opening a new store south of the river in Cannington. The store is set to open in early 2024 and will be the third of the smaller format, ‘Plan and order point’ stores opened in Australia.
The Plan and order point store format aims to give consumers a more accessible and convenient shopping experience where they can get personalised advice from an Ikea expert to help plan complex areas of their home.
The Cannington store will also act as a pickup point for the collection of online orders increasing convenience for those who live south of the river.
Johanna Gbenplay, Market Area Manager, IKEA Australia commented, “With IKEA Perth in Innaloo in the north, we’re so pleased to be able to offer a convenient location to our customers south of the river, too, from early 2024. Cannington Plan and order point is the place to come to get one-on-one IKEA life at home expertise to make planning a kitchen or wardrobe upgrade simple.”

Bookings for planning appointments at IKEA Cannington will be able to be made via the IKEA website from early 2024.
