The McGowan Government has announced they will provide a $2 million package towards Western Australia’s premier community event, the Perth Royal Show, that includes subsidised tickets for all family members.
How much will Perth Royal Show tickets be discounted
The State’s funding provides a 25% discount on ticket prices across all categories – ensuring all Western Australias can access the discounted offering.
This will be welcomed news for Perth families with any small win helping to combat the cost of living continuing to increase.
Agriculture and Food Minister Alannah MacTiernan hopes the discount will help maximise the attendance of the Perth Royal Show.
“It connects the city to the country, and we are subsidising tickets again to maximise access to the Show for West Australians.”
How to buy Perth Royal Show Tickets
All Perth Royal Show ticket sales for 2022 will be exclusively online. You can purchase these via the Perth Royal Show website as there will be no physical ticket sales to this year’s Perth Royal Show.
This means no ticket sales at the gates during the event.
The Perth Royal Show is on 24 September until 1 October 2022.
