Rocky Ridge Brewing Co is heading to Perth — specifically the northern suburb of Duncraig.

After two years of searching for the perfect location, the brewery will make a new home at the Duncraig Shopping Centre. It will join an IGA, pharmacy, bakery, and news agency.

To be known as TapHouse Perth, this new venue will operate in tandem with and mirror Rocky Ridge’s existing site, TapHouse Busselton. Expect to see over 30 beers on tap including its core Ace IPA, Jindong Juicy Pale Ale, and Rock-On XPA, as well as new-release and small-batch beers.

Its beers will be the main feature, with its Western Australian craft beer available for tastings and consumption on and off the premises — including takeaway. There will also be a small selection of wine and other liquor.

The Duncraig venue will comprise a beer garden, internal bar and dining, an alfresco area, and kid-friendly facilities.

A call to action has been put out to members of the public to support its Tavern License Application. You can give your feedback here

Who is Rocky Ridge?

If you’re a beer lover and have been to Busselton, chances are you’re already familiar with Rocky Ridge and have visited their TapHouse, enjoying the fabulous beers they brew.

If you aren’t yet aware of them, let us tell you a few things. With origins in the south west, Rocky Ridge is a locally owned and operated family business and is Australia’s first Certified Sustainable Brewery. It produces beers using the best local produce, farmed in the best way, and with the least environmental impact.

Minimising environmental impact is very important to them and has become part of their ethos. Currently, they run a carbon-neutral operation; however, by 2025, they intend to have reached Net Zero direct emissions, leading the way in the industry.

The Perth TapHouse will continue in this tradition, where they’re investing in sustainability and renewable energy where possible.
