Storms are brewing – with a cold front moving across SW WA tonight – widespread gusts to 100km/h from 5pm this evening and gusts in excess of 125 km/h are possible.
A cold front is set to hit SW WA this tonight and early Monday morning bringing with it perhaps the strongest winds seen this year.

Winds are expected to hit the SW at around 5pm tonight and then reach Perth around 6pm.
Reported on BOM – Severe winds are possible in the Perth Metropolitan area from around 6pm WST this evening. These conditions are more likely from midnight tonight and are expected to continue to around midday Monday.
The strongest winds are expected to take place tonight until early Monday morning (11pm to 5am) when the core of the strong winds stretches over Perth and the SW.
