The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Unity Pitch has reached Perth as part of the upcoming tournament.

From March 2nd to 9th, Scarborough Amphitheatre will host the Unity Pitch to promote community involvement and celebrate the 32 participating nations.

Fans can watch players from the National Training Centre and Perth Glory team members — including Perth Glory A-League Captain, Tash Rigby — as they complete training sessions on the pitch.

There will also be a host of other activities, including fitness classes, small-sided games, junior club training sessions, and giveaways.

Forrest Place in the Perth CBD will host a FIFA Fan Festival from July 20th to August 20th with a hub for fans to enjoy music, live matches, and performances. We’ll give you all the details on this FIFA Fan Festival closer to the dates.

“This pinnacle event for women’s football will present visitors, local players and fans with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a global sporting spectacular, and this week’s Unity Pitch at Scarborough Beach will offer a taste of the excitement to come,” Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman said.
