Given how crazy everyone went for our Resident Evil The Final Chapter competition giveaway, we thought that we would also provide a review of the movie to help everyone see what all the fuss is about.
The first Resident Evil came out in 2002 and now the final chapter of the Resident Evil series has hit our screens.

Based on Capcom’s hugely popular video game series comes the final installment in the most successful video game film franchise ever, which has grossed over $1 billion worldwide to date.
Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
What is the world Saying about Resident Evil The Final Chapter?
Rotten Tomato often the go to film reviewer source scored Resident Evil at 41% according to critics, however, fans rated the final chapter a success with 71% of the audience liking the film.
Spotlight Report claimed that while the film was far from perfect it was, in fact, a fitting end to the franchise. Film Ink also sighted that the franchise went out on a high, listing the final film as popcorn entertainment.
While Alice is back to her ass-kicking best Variety, however, suggest the film will add little for fans and suggest that the door has been left wide open for a future Resident Evil.
