Jack Darling returns with a bang!

The Eagles will be hungry for the win this weekend against the Bombers at Domain Stadium after the 10-point loss against North Melbourne in round 10.

Enter Jack Darling! Darling is set to be a huge inclusion for WCE in round 11 after kicking 5 goals for East Perth in the WAFL. Darling played his first game back on Saturday after suffering a fracture to his foot during pre-season. The 22 year old has pulled up well from the WAFL game and Eagles coach Adam Simpson has said that he will be in the mix this week. The inclusion of Darling will be a big boost for the Eagles and will help to determine what the remainder of West Coast’s season will look like.

Jack Darling

West Coast have been riddled with injuries in 2015 however it seems that several key players are set to return in the near future. Matt Rosa is almost a certainty to play this weekend against the Bombers after recovering from a hamstring injury. Defender Xavier Ellis is also set to return in the coming weeks after suffering a couple of soft tissue niggles this season. He has been solid in the WAFL the past two weeks and has slowly been building up for a return.

The Eagles have managed to have quite an impressive season regardless of the injury count so I feel that the return of these players will make the Eagles line-up a dangerous one for opposition teams to match.

Fingers crossed for no more injuries!
