Which team will soar higher come game day?

West Coast Eagles will be in their natural habitat at Domain Stadium when they take on the Pies this weekend. There has been a bit of talk about Eagles struggling to perform away from home however, that will obviously not be an issue this week…

joshThis game will be won by the Eagles forwards I think, with Josh Kennedy and Jack Darling stepping up to make up for last week’s loss against Sydney. I think Mark LeCras will also be doing everything he can to make sure he plays well so that he continues to get a game. West Coast has some good players in waiting, ready each week for the call up.

With Nic Naitanui, Matt Priddis, Andrew Gaff and Luke Shuey combining through the midfield, I think the Pies will have a hard time trying to spoil the effectiveness of the ball delivery in to the West Coast forward 50. Not to mention, the Eagles have an extremely good percentage of wins against the Pies at Domain Stadium, winning 11 games from 15, with 7 of those wins by over 50 points.

nic natThe American Pie Mason Cox will be coming over with Collingwood and he showed some impressive skills last week against Essendon, considering he only learnt how to play AFL not that long ago… The question is though, how will he fair against Nic Nat? If he thought last week was easy against the Bombers, I think he will be in for a bit of shock on Sunday!

As long as West Coast capitalise on their opportunities a bit better than they did last week against the Swans, I think they will sail through this game and easily get the 4 points.

I am tipping West Coast Eagles to beat Collingwood by 20 points.
