What a huge game this one will be! A replay of last years Grand Final, possibly with a different result??

West Coast will come into this game on a high after a HUGE win over Brisbane Lions last week. Matt Priddis absolutely cleaned up with 43 disposals and Nic Naitanui dominated around the ground with 22 disposals, 46 hit-outs and 2 goals.

The Eagles take on Hawthorn at the MCG on Sunday in what I feel will establish a sense of dominance for the rest of the season. Not only did Hawks lose on the scoreboard last week against Geelong, they also lost skipper Luke Hodge with a broken arm. Jarryd Roughead is another out, suffering a knee injury that will see him sidelined for 10-12 weeks. This would be a good chance for West Coast to get one up on the reigning Premiers.

As we all know, West Coast Eagles are a very high scoring team, last week’s 26 goal haul was lead by gun forward Josh Kennedy who kicked 8. If West Coast can continue their momentum from last week’s win I think they could come out firing and get ahead of the Hawks.

Hawthorn don’t allow a lot of room for error, any mistakes from West Coast will be jumped on and converted into positives for the Hawks. As long as the Eagles stay accurate in front of goal and move the ball effectively around the ground I think they can withstand the Hawks heat.

I am predicting that Nic Nat will continue his stella form from last week and JK will again be the Eagles major goal scorer. Hawks do have the home ground advantage and the Eagles don’t have a good record against the Hawks at the MCG however, my spidey-sense is telling me that the Eagles will take the 4 points.

I am tipping West Coast Eagles to win by 7 points, in a very close game.
