Can West Coast Eagles add this away game to their list of wins for the season?

I should think so… Eagles don’t have a fantastic record at Adelaide Oval however, I think this game will be looked at like a decider – whether or not West Coast Eagles really do have some kind of issue winning games away from home. I am still not convinced, as they have only played top 8 teams away from home so far this season.

9 priddisPort Adelaide dropped a game that they really should have won last week against Carlton, so they will no doubt be ready to fire up on their home ground to try to gain some credibility back. Robbie Gray returns to the Power side after missing several weeks with a hamstring injury. Port are going to need him to be at his best if they are going to be competitive against the Eagles.

I think Matt Priddis will have a good game this week, the last time these two teams met he had a blinder and was awarded Best on Ground after pulling in 31 disposals. Nic Naitanui will have a chance to have a big game this week against Port’s ruckman Jackson Trengove, who is much less experienced than Naitanui.

9 lecrasJosh Kennedy put on a great show last week in front of goal against St Kilda, kicking 5.1, as did Mark LeCras who kicked 6.0. Kennedy’s accuracy in front of goal seems to have definitely improved, I am hoping that was the game he needed to kick him back into gear and get his confidence up.

In my opinion, this is it! This is the game that will break the ‘not winning away from home’ curse. I am tipping West Coast Eagles to beat Port Adelaide by 20 points.
