While the races are traditionally seen as a time for the women to flaunt their most stylish dresses and sculptural fascinators, the Drummond Golf Northerly Stakes Day is the day for the men to don their suits and strut their stuff.

TABtouch Gold Rush Day

Saturday, 10th December

Wrapping up the carnival in dazzling style is the TABtouch Gold Rush Day — an event that brings to light the history of Ascot Racecourse. During the late 1800s gold rush in Perth, the influx of wealth brought about finer things, with people looking to the races to show off their wealth.

In a nod to the prosperous times, patrons of the final Pinnacles event are encouraged to don a touch of gold. Sparkle and shimmer the day away before dancing your way into the evening with local band LITTLE BELLE after the last race.
