Reigning Big Bash League (BBL) champions, the Perth Scorchers will defend their title this Saturday night in front of a thunderous home crowd at Optus Stadium.
The favourites secured their spot in the decider in front of a 41,126-strong crowd on Saturday night, which saw them cruise into the grand final with a seven-wicket victory over the Sydney Sixers.
The Sixers will play Brisbane Heat on Thursday, February 2nd, at the Sydney Cricket Ground, with the winner advancing to the final to play the Scorchers.
Where To Watch The Perth Scorchers
With more than 34,000 tickets snapped up in four hours on Sunday, many fans were left empty-handed. Another allocation of tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 3rd, with some set aside for travelling fans of the opposition.
Try your luck at buying some here.
It’s expected that a crowd of more than 50,000 will watch the Scorchers chase their fifth BBL title — their third final in a row — potentially beating the club’s previous attendance record of 52,960 at the 2018 semifinal. Gates to the last BBL game of the season will open at 3:00 pm, the match beginning at 4:30 pm.
If you miss out on tickets, there are a few other ways to cheer on the Scorchers.
Australia’s largest pub, The Camfield, will show the game live. As it’s right next to Optus Stadium, the real-time roar of the crowd makes it almost as if you’re there. Begin the day right with two hours of bottomless cocktails and Chandon while feasting on the chef’s three-course sharing menu.
Varsity, Patriots Sports Bar, Crown Sports Bar, and The Sporting Globe are just a few other venues showing the match. Channel 7, Foxtel, and Kayo will also air the game live for home supporters.
