After more than 60 games, two teams are left to fight for the 2022 FIFA World Cup title.

While games generally haven’t been on at favourable times to a Perth audience – ranging from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am – this hasn’t stopped crowds from flocking to venues to cheer on their team.

The final will be played on Sunday, December 18th at 11:00 pm with many pubs and sports bars opening their doors for this moment.

Here are our top picks of where to watch the game.

Crown

Showing sports 24/7, Crown Sports Bar has cemented itself as one of the go-to sports bars in Perth.

Airing all previous games, Crown’s nearly 140-metre-long screens have caught every second of the action. There are also TAB facilities if you want to place a bet before the clash.

Elevate the excitement and hire The Box for the ultimate VIP sporting experience with space for up to 18 people.

Feel as if you’re in Qatar with three massive high-resolution screens and be treated like royalty with tailored drink packages and a personal host.

You’ll get access to platters with food from the Merrywell. Nibble on mac & cheese bites, buffalo wings, wedges, nachos, BBQ pulled pork quesadillas, mini beef burgers, fries, and onion rings.

You will also have access to a private fridge with a selection of refreshing beverages available.

The Camfield

Offering some competition to Crown is The Camfield which has shown select previous games on its huge outdoor screen.

Head down to Australia’s largest pub and grab a refreshment at its microbrewery with drinks paying homage to the state.

Enjoy one of the three core range beers of First Lager, Cygnet Ale, and XPA, or try one of its rotating limited release taps.

The Brook

With its extensive range of beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and pub staples, The Brook is the place to be on Sunday night.

Watch the game on its massive seven square metre digital screen as well as its other large-screen TVs. Kick back before the game in the lounge bar or one of two beer gardens.

The Lookout

Head down to The Lookout in Scarborough which will be showing the game live on all screens.

Try one of the 14 beers on tap, a wine, or one of their cocktails such as the Scarbs & Co with el jimador tequila, cointreau, coconut puree, passionfruit, and lime.

Share a pizza, grab a steak from the grill, or have the Lookout Burger with double beef, double cheddar, bacon, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and house sauce.

Varsity

Varsity is taking over the streets of Northbridge and is shutting down the laneway next to its venue for the final epic viewing party.

Expect big screens, a pre-party DJ spinning tunes from 4:00 pm, FIFA replays, pop-up bars, all-night entertainment, and Varsity’s own food truck selling its mouthwatering burgers.

What’s more, this event is completely free!

All of Varsity’s other venues – Joondalup, Fremantle, Karawara, Crawley, and Morley – will be showing the game as well, albeit with not as much fanfare as the Northbridge location.

Johnny Fox’s

Channel the luck of the Irish for your team at Perth’s late-night Irish pub, Johnny Fox’s.

Enjoy the game across two big projector screens with an ice-cold beer and all the pub food you can eat.

Entry is free and revel in live music before the game to amp up the vibes.

Yagan Square

For a more family-friendly affair, Yagan Square will be playing the game across its 45-metre-high digital tower which includes a large circular screen – perfect to catch all the action.

With a range of places to eat nearby, there’s no shortage of what to pick. Opt for a classic pub meal at The Shoe Bar & Cafe or authentic street eats from around the world at Street Eats Eatery.

Hiss and Smoke offer Japanese food while you can enjoy traditional Korean BBQ at Gangnam Yagan.

The Globe

Grab your mates and head to The Globe for a pre-game feed and enjoy an ice-cold beer as it heats up on the screen.

You can order on your phone to avoid missing out on a second of the action.

Only select games were shown, but both the third-place game with Croatia and Morocco and the final with Argentina and France will be aired.

Sporting Globe

With more than 50 screens at every location and private booths with touchscreen TVs, The Sporting Globe is the place to be to catch all the FIFA finals action.

Grab a $30 Budweiser bucket specifically available for the World Cup or have a pub favourite of fries, nachos, pizza, parmi, or steak.

Book your table to avoid missing out.
