Optus Stadium will be pumping for the first time in months as the Western Derby is set to be played at Optus Stadium in round 7 in front of a capacity crowd.
Hot off the heels of the Perth AFL Hub announcement comes the news of the Western Derby blockbuster. West Coast and Fremantle will do battle on Sunday, July 19th at Optus Stadium at 4:35pm.

In further round 7 fixture news, Optus Stadium will host Friday Night Footy as Geelong take on Collingwood in what is expected to be a 50% capacity crowd – allowing for 30,000 fans to attend.
Future fixture details are yet to be finalised, however, the AFL have raised the idea of more Victorian teams to head west.
As many as six Victorian teams will rotate through the Western Australia quarantine hub experience as part of “sacrifices” each club will make this season.
AFL fixture boss Travis Auld raised that scenario ahead of the unveiling of the round seven fixture on Thursday.
