Tess Alexander – Miss World Australia 2015 announced in Perth
Model and personal trainer Tess Alexander has been crowned Miss World Australia 2015 at an event at Crown Resort Perth.
Ms Alexander competed for Queensland and beat out 40 finalist from across Australia.
Tess wrote that she intends to use her opportunity to “serve as an ambassador to charity, enrich the perception of beauty, and enhance a new strength, energy and spirit for the advancement of women, while positively impacting their communities..Someone who can send a little light to people in need.”

As part of her Miss World campaign, Tess has been raising funds for her charity.
“My fundraising focus has been called “All you KNIT is love“, where members of the Brisbane community knit personalised squares.. which have been sewn together to create quilts, to donate to children who are forced to spend a majority of their lives in hospitals,” Tess wrote on her fundraising page as part of Miss World Australia 2015
Tess was crowned with iconic jewelers Linneys bespoke Argyle pink diamond tiara. The Miss World Australia tiara is valued at $2.5 million and is encrusted with 178 rare and extremely precious Australian Argyle pink diamonds.
“Tess will go through to represent Australia in China at the World Finals,” said Pageant Coordinator, Margy Hegney-Hall, who will accompany the winner to the global event.
Tess Alexander is Miss World Australia for 2015 and will compete in China this December.
