Here are 7 top Perth Brewery’s and beer spots with recommended beers to wet your whistle.

Homestead, Swan Valley

One of the main attractions in the Swan Valley not just because of the amazing facilities but also because of their amazing product. Sure you could enjoy some of their award winning wines – but more importantly you can grab an ice cold beer on tap in the Homestead bar/restaurant or enjoy a cold one while out in the beer garden.

All beer on tap is brewed on site so you can’t get much fresher or delicious.

Meet the New players in town at Fremantle’s only small batch independent brew house. Head brewer Mal & Rhys the Mad Fermentalist are here to create the ultimate mix of ancient traditional styles of brew mashing with fresh, new, innovative styles. 

Recommended Drop: Monk Vintage Ale (5.9%)
The Vintage Ale is a malt driven Scotch ale. Dominant caramel and toffee aromas give this beer the boldness that its name suggests. Naturally aged and conditioned in tank makes it a Vintage worth waiting for.

Alternatively given Monk Brewery were recently crowned 2015 Craft Beer Awards’ Champion Small Brewery it will be difficult to chose just one favourite – so you could also start with the Monk’s beer tasting paddle, which comes with 120ml tasters of all 6 beers, plus recipe cards and tasting notes for $20.

Feral Brewing Company, Swan Valley

Feral Brewing Company is family owned and is one of Western Australia’s most awarded breweries. Feral Brewing Company is must for any beer lover providing you with unique range of tasty beers in a panoramic beer garden setting overlooking vineyards in the Swan Valley.

The Sail and Anchor located on the Fremantle Cafe Strip is a heritage listed, turn of the century bar that’s home to 27 taps bringing you the best in craft beer from all over the world – including 3 traditional English hand pumps and a hopinator.

Northbridge Brewing Company (NBC), Northbridge

Located in the heart of Northbridge and overlooking the green open space of the Northbridge Piazza, you can relax and enjoy the tasty range of craft beers brewed by the Beer Master Ken Arrowsmith. All beers are brewed on site and are available exclusively to NBC.

Little Creatures, Fremantle

It seems fair to say that Little Creatures was a driving force in the craft beer scene for Western Australia. It all started back in 2001 when the Little Creatures Pale Ale, was proudly presented to the Australian market.

Grab a Pale Ale and a pizza and soak in the brewery chaos or wander out into the backyard to enjoy your beer and nosh in the sunshine.
