How long has it been since you’ve taken, just a step to the left? Or shivered with antici…pation? Yes it’s that time, time for the Time Warp … again. The Rocky Horror Picture Show Immersive Spectacular is here for a limited season.

Way back in 1975, yes in the pre-Covid, pre-MeTime, pre-Cancel everything era, a little movie called The Rocky Horror Picture Show came out. A blend of drag and drama, a night out at the movies was never the same again, especially for any impressionable teens.

Artrage, the creative force behind Perth’s FRINGE WORLD Festival, are undertaking a regional tour of the Rocky Horror Picture Show Immersive Spectacular. Be quick! It’s limited season runs from November 16th to 27th at Planet Royale in Northbridge.

I’m very pleased to say that regional areas won’t miss out. The gang will be heading to 12 regional WA venues.

The team of misfits includes seven WA-based performers ranging from drag, burlesque, circus and dance.

As usual the original movie will play alongside the live cast, well mostly alive … for now.

So grab your fishnets, your bright red lippy and get ready to sign along, as Frank-n- Furter struts his stuff. Oh Brad! Maybe leave your political correctness at home.
