If you have little ones in the house you’ll already know about Paw Patrol, if not where have you been? Watching the audience at Paw Patrol The Movie has life affirming. The sheer excitement and delight on their faces just made you love life all over again.

On a cloudy Sunday morning I entered Event Cinema Innaloo to find it overrun with dogs. There were dogs of the animal-kind from Guide Dogs WA, along with dogs of the human-kind. Such a delight to see the kids dressed up as their favourite Paw Patrol character. The cuteness factor was in overdrive that’s for sure and that was even before the movie started.

Paw Patrol The Movie begins in Adventure Bay, when word gets out that Mayor Humdinger is turning Adventure City into a state of chaos. Think massive fireworks that get out of hand. Something has to be done. Enter the Paw Patrol.

Led by their human Ryder (Will Brisbin), each of the pups gets a turn at using their special skills to help save the day. There’s firefighting, policing and loads of action.

With a cast of celebrity voices, including Iain Armitage, Kim Kardashian West, Randall Park, Tyler Perry and Jimmy Kimmel, Paw Patrol The Movie is excellent entertainment of the kids and good escapism for their parents.
