Back by popular demand, W Churchill is joining forces with House of Suntory and craft gin brand Roku to bring you another series of G & Tea – two hours of free-flowing Roku cocktails and Japanese inspired afternoon tea (yes please).
What is G & Tea?
If you love a good gin, you’ll know that W Churchill is the place to be. This era-inspired gin bar and restaurant regularly serves up a menu of over 200 gins and this May you can be treated to 2 hours of free-flowing Roku cocktails.
The cocktail menu will focus on seasonal WA ingredients infused with the flavours of Japan such as white peach, umeshu and lemon, and the ‘Hachi’; a twist on the Bee’s Knee’s cocktail with lemon, honey and jasmine.
If the cocktail menu doesn’t get your tastebuds tingling the Japanese inspired afternoon tea menu from executive chef, James Watson, definitely will. The menu will star items such as katsu chicken finger sandwiches and raspberry matcha opera cake.
What is Roku?
Roku is a Japanese craft gin brand. Inside every Roku gin bottle there are six special botanicals sourced in Japan that offer complex and beautiful flavours with highlights of yuzu (citrus fruit) and a smooth silky texture.
